NottsPR.com didn’t get lucky in love this Valentine’s Day, but we did get some excellent coverage for one of our Nottingham clients, none of which was down to luck.

Following on from the trending news story on 14 February about actor James Nesbitt revealing his hair transplant has given his career a boost, we quickly put together a pitch offering Nottingham based hair loss mentor Spencer Stevenson of Spexhair.com to provide his expert views on hair restoration surgery.

With some persistence and hard-work, we were able to bag Spencer a prime-time slot on BBC Radio 5 Live, appearances on BBC Radio West Midlands and BBC Radio Derby and a interview with The Sun – not bad for a day’s work.

The latest coverage follows on from several profiles we’ve secured for Spencer in recent weeks, including coverage in the Daily Express and the Daily Telegraph.

NottsPR.com, based in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter, is the regional division of national media relations agency London PR which was founded in Nottingham ten years ago.

Director of Notts PR, Steve McComish, said: “It’s great to get both local and national coverage for our Nottingham based clients.

“You can spend a lot of time carefully preparing a press release, but sometimes when news like this sparks national attention you have to react quickly to it, and I’m pleased were able to do so successfully whilst once again creating accurate, relevant content.

“Hair loss is becoming an increasingly discussed issue thanks to celebrities like James Nesbitt opening up about their treatments, and it’s pleasing that we are able to get coverage for a client who is also having a positive impact in helping people cope with hair loss.”
